Hola, soy nuevo en color, y me ha sorprendido ver un apartado en español, me va perfecto.
Alguien sabe como cargar archivos ASC-CDL (extension .ccc) en Apple Color??
Y para guardar mis propios archivos con extension .colorgrade, como los archivos que nos descargamos de este foro??

Hola a todos. Yo uso Color desde enero de 2008. Por fin aparece gente de habla hispana.
burto, sobre el look de “million dolar baby”, yo en tu lugar intentaría analizar las caracteristicas primero de los negros, medios y altas luces y luego las posibles correcciones secundarias que se le han hecho, y una vez tengas mas o menos pillado el estilo, intentar aplicarlo a tu material
No siempre los mismos ajustes valen para todos los materiales.

Por cierto, me estoy planteando crear un foro como este pero para usuarios en castellano. Os parecería interesante?

buenas yo soy de españa y si que me gustaria poderr hablar en mi idioma :) y sobre todo hablar de mis dudas con gente que puede entenderme :)
tengo que talonar un corto con un estilo de iluminación de “million dollar baby” XD que tipo de filtro puedo utilizar para contrastar entre sombras y altas luces XD

Hace dos semanas comence a usar el Color 1.5 y ya mas o menos le estoy
agarrando la onda. He estado trabajando con archivos 2K ProRes de la RED.
Tratare de ayudar en lo que pueda a los que ocupen ayuda.

hola!! me alegra mucho saber q andamos en lo mismo…. tengo una gran duda. Soy un usuario nuevo del Color, ya me baje los color grade de aki del foro, me parecen q son muy buenos, los instale en la carpeta q indican….pero como los aplico dentro del color? no los consigo..donde estan?

Exactly! I like the form factor as well. But first I’ll see if I can get a Wave over here to test. I expected the MC Color to be available before christmas, but since they’re late I need to check for other solutions. I have a few big gigs coming my way, and it would be nice to – first of all – grade faster, and more intuitive – and to make the suite look more complete and professional for the client sessions.

I was told the same thing as you regarding the time frame for shipping.
I’m supposed to get a unit from Euphonics to write a review, when they start shipping, but I haven’t heard from them yet.

Any thoughts about this one vs. the Euphonix? I was promised an email from Euphonix before christmas, but I never got one. I asked about when it was going to ship, and the director of marketing over there said they were in production and would ship in the US during the last two weeks of December. As for worldwide, he didn’t know at that time. This was December 8 – I wrote to him again this morning. I’d very much like to have one of their Color panels. I think it both looks better and seems more handy for dailies on various locations due to its weight and size. However, I’m forced to ordering the Wave if the Euphonix won’t show up for a month or two, as I’ve got a handful of projects to be done by March/April – and I REALLY REALLY need to get my workflow up to a certain tempo.

Except for the Wave then yes that’s my gear. The video monitor is the cheapest HD-SDI CRT I could find: JVC DT-V1710CG. The resolution is around 800 TV-lines, it has auto switchable SD and HD input and I use it for monitoring for Avid, FCP, AE and Color. It has never let me down. If you pay the same amount for a broadcast LCD it will be less color accurate but the LCD will have better resolution.

Very good review, I have used a Tangent Device (CP200-BK) to grade two short movies, a 7 min and a 17 min (!!). I felt very good about it in the entire process… but I must say it’s not as stylish as this Wave one you just used.

Tangent Devices seems to me the best option so far… and I’m planning on buying one myself!

Is this entire equipment yours? And what is the resolution of the monitor on the right?
