Topic: Workflow / Kona 3 Video grinds Color to a crawl

Hello,

I am running Color 1.0.3 with a Kona 3, Aja Control Panel 6.0.3, and when I switch on Video Output, Color gives me about 6 seconds of beach ball between every action. If I select a new frame, beach ball – if I switch to another room, beach ball – try and tweak a color setting, forget it.

I’ve messed with UI settings and all the obvious performance tweaks in Color, and nothing helps. When I disable video out, Color responds beautifully.

I’ve run Color with other Kona 3s before, and have never seen this before. Anyone else run into this?

I have tried alternate versions of the Kona Control Panel, and that doesn’t address the issue either.
