Hi folks! Definitely your Z1 is out of Hue tone, as so you need to readjust hue on footage..oh btw.. in very humid zones with color locked and auto gain I had similar color shifts towards green… dang! .. but still a great cam… Cheers!

Avoid working more than one hour straight without resting your eyes outside the studio for 5 minutes. This will considerably reduce eyestrain and lack of accuracy in grading tasks during the day.

Of course you can, but don’t forget, if you narrow video bandwidth in the beginning, at the end, you won’t get it back, such as crushed blacks or burnt whites… You always get less and less signal, cause when you color correct you are equalizing levels and hence getting less than initial video levels an latitude on all RGB channels or whatever the colorspace of the sources you are working are in.

Ok a Smoke costs 150.000 € to edit exactly the same kind of video I edit with FCP… but I would love to have the integration level of that app, such as keyframable animated unlimited point bezier masks for transitions and a cool shape tracker without leaving FCP…oh and 3D tracker as well… but again that’s just me ;-) Flame is crazy expensive man… I rather have IFX Piranha instead :-P
