Underhanded and Unethical 'Journalism' going on at 'geniusdv.com'

I was scanning my RSS like I usually do when I came across a release piece at Genius DV about DaVinci Resolve coming to the Mac <<< read the article I thought it would be a straight-forward piece with maybe some more info on the launch of this great software on the Mac platform, but instead they, oddly, turned it into hack-piece against Color. I say oddly, because I went there to read about DaVinci Resolve, not Color, and found there, just simply sophomor-ish attacks on Color, that if the writer of this piece were an actual day-in-day-out user of the software, just wouldn’t give a monkey’s about.. The article invited its readers to leave a comment so I did.
So imagine my surprise when I got up this morning to find not only my comment gone , but the ability to leave any comment at all disabled too.
For the record, here is my comment which addresses some of the comments made by the author of the article.
They make it look like you can’t get any work done in Color, that it’s just some sort of nightmare to use which it clearly is not. I did not attack, insult, defame or disparage anybody, any product or their site , which I love by the way, – tonnes of FC Studio tips there, a real goldmine – so why delete my comment? odd.. |
