Hello

I’m trying to create an accurate reproduction of the three strip Technicolor process of the 30s-60s.
I shot the film using a Canon XH-A1. I purposely placed red objects in the frame to make the color stand out (actresses lip stick, actors ascot, act…
I am not interested in adding dust, scratches, or anything else that would make the film look weathered.

I want it to appear as if the film was shot during the 40s and this is it’s first run through the projector.

Thank you so much.

Ps. Theres two things I’ve noticed with the early 3 strip process: The colors are vibrant and vivid yet limited and almost spill over. Almost like a cartoon character thats been painted by hand. This is what I am going for.

I’ve seen these, Two strip looks amazing.

I basically played off of yours.

Adapt I reemitted the green channel. Still unsuccessful.

What should I do.

Also I want to leave as little Grain as possible. As these movies where none for there like of color noise.
