I save everything and render my clips, everything is exported correctly, then I close Color. Now here’s the Problem: Whenever I start Color again, and open my project, everything is still in place BUT… the Tracker “Status Lights” are RED! As there is no way to save trackers like you save shapes, grades or looks i have no idea why this is happening. I tried reinstalling Color, deleting preferences, repairing permissions.. using different and more “easy” project/media/render directorys… also attaching a user shape to a tracker and saving the shape did not help… actually…I think i almost tried everything but nothing helped unfortunately… I don’t believe doing all the tracking work again after closing and reopening a project is a new feature of Color 1.5…. so does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance! |

I feel your pain. And this is the reason I tend to keyframe anything I need movement on in Color. Unfortunately, you will have to grade the vignette first, then keyframe. Haven’t tested it, but maybe it’s possible to copy to a bank, and then paste from that bank again if you need to change and go back to different settings during the shot. |

Tracking doesn’t work for me either. I use Shake instead when I need it. |

The Pro Applications Update 2010-01 supposedly addresses the tracking problems. I haven’t installed it yet, but maybe others who have can comment. |
